Bineo is part of the European project H2020 Cos4Cloud

Once the first year has passed since the European Cos4Cloud project began, co-financed by the Horizon 2020 program and with a duration of 40 months, it is time to report the work done to the European Commission.

The main objective of the Cos4Cloud project is to create cutting-edge technological services that are available in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) to improve citizen science platforms. Fifteen organizations participate in this European project, among which Bineo has an important role in leading the work package 4 “WP4-Interactive Services”.

During this year we have made our first deliverable in which the 'General Purpose Platform' has been designed, developed and tested, which offers experts a single window of access to the observations collected in different citizen observatories, allowing the application of different search criteria to search for information in multiple observatories from a single portal, download it and make identifications in a very agile way. In addition, work was carried out on the internationalization and integration of federated authentication systems, among others.
